Hazards Control provides independent fire and explosion safety services for industrial and commercial operations in Poland. We combine technical analysis, site surveys and practical recommendations to help clients understand and reduce risk.

Explosion prevention and protection
We prepare explosion-hazard assessments and advise on prevention and protection. In Poland, such assessments may be required for technical processes involving materials whose dusts, fibres or vapours can form an explosive atmosphere with air.

Fire-safety surveys and risk analysis
We conduct fire-safety surveys and prepare reports with clear recommendations. This includes risk analysis for fixed fire-extinguishing systems. An anonymised technical case study showing independent ATEX field verification of a combustible-dust process is available in our Case Studies section.

We assess exposures including property damage, business interruption and third-party liability, such as environmental damage and product liability. Depending on the project, we can prepare PML calculations using relevant Munich standards or other appropriate methodologies.

Fire investigations
Working with scientific specialists where needed, we investigate the origin and cause of fires. Our approach may draw on NFPA standards.

Desktop risk assessment and insurance expertise
We offer desktop risk assessments based on documents and information provided by the client. This approach is useful when an on-site survey is not necessary and a timely result is needed.

We also advise on the appropriate scope of insurance cover. Our fee is independent of the insurance premium.

Technical advice and training
We advise on technical solutions that improve safety through the best available technology. We deliver tailored training for risk engineers, underwriters and company management.

Fire safety instructions, procedures and legal support
We prepare fire-safety instructions for specific technological processes and facilities. Where appropriate, we help improve the fire safety of production processes with specialist input.

We review whether an activity, building or project complies with Polish fire-safety law. We can prepare safety procedures for foreseeable hazards, provide practical legal interpretation and organise evacuation training.
