Hazards Control was founded by a fire-safety engineer and graduate of the Faculty of Fire Safety at the Main School of Fire Service. His qualifications authorise the provision of a wide range of services referred to in Article 4(2)(2a) of the Polish Fire Protection Act, as amended on 6 May 2005 (Journal of Laws No. 100, item 835). He has also completed an advanced course for candidates for a second-degree licence in technical property protection.
A significant part of his experience was gained as a risk engineer at an insurance company with more than a century of experience in complex industrial insurance. Hazards Control draws on risk analyses conducted at more than 100 manufacturing facilities across Poland. Most were preceded by site surveys; the remainder were desktop assessments based on information supplied by the client. Our clients have included investors, insurers, insurance brokers and local authorities.
The company owner has also served as Head of the Fire Safety Control, Prevention and Monitoring Department at one of Poland’s largest industrial facilities. The work covered companies within the capital group as well as external operators, including paint and stamping plants, welding shops, wastewater-treatment facilities, vehicle-seat factories, high-bay warehouses, tool-production plants, vehicle-recycling facilities, foundries, service workshops, plastics and polyurethane-foam manufacturers, showrooms, catering facilities, schools, hotels and office buildings.
He has also worked for an innovative high-technology company conducting research, development and implementation work in environmental and fire protection. The company carried out full-scale 1:1 fire simulations, including simulations conducted to support work for FM Global. Above all, we value collaboration on technically demanding projects with scientists from the Main School of Fire Service and other research institutions.
